Department of Biological Sciences Students
The Department of Biological Sciences at Florida Tech is composed of a diverse and interactive group of scientists and students whose work spans the entire breadth of biology. Our faculty currently stands at 19 and the student body includes 60 master's and Ph.D. students and approximately 300 undergraduate majors.

Dr. Robert van Woesik, Florida Tech professor of biological sciences and internationally noted coral reef expert, was interviewed recently for the NBC Nightly News on the destructive phenomenon of coral bleaching.
